Referred to House (sub)committee
On 7/7/17, UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee inscribed the Old City of Hebron on its list of World Heritage in Danger, making it eligible for certain kinds of funding and other forms of international support (see JPS 47 [1]). This resolution disapproved of the decision and rejected any future UN decision that it described as being “inherently anti-Israel or seeks to impose a solution” to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
