First

Referred to Senate (sub)committee

This resolution would commend Secy. of State John Kerry for his efforts in restarting negotiations and affirms that the U.S. is an ‘indispensable’ mediator in the process.

It was introduced on the same day that 3-way procedural discussions took place in Washington between U.S., Israeli, and Palestinian negotiators.

At the annual J Street Conference lobby day, support for this resolution was a ‘key ask.’ Additional support also came from Americans for Peace Now.
