Expresses support for two-state solution, an “unwavering commitment to Israel’s security”, denounces the use of violence, calls on President Bush to employ robust diplomacy and appoint a high ranking U.S. official as envoy to the region, cautions the PA and Israel against actions that would prejudice final status negotiations, calls on Hamas to adhere to the three Quartet principles for international recognition, and moderate Arab states to intensify diplomacy on behalf of the Arab Peace Initiative.
