115
Second
September 12, 2018
Referred to House (sub)committee

This bill would compel the director of national intelligence to determine whether or not the government of Iran has used any money derived from the sanctions relief included in the 7/14/15 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal, or any money from the $1.7 b. cash payment from the U.S. in early 2016 to support a foreign terrorist organization, including Hamas or Hezbollah; engage in violence against a U.S. national; conduct military operations in Syria; or facilitate illicit narcotics activities. If the director determines any of said moneys have been used for said purposes, the secretary of state would be compelled to demand repayment from Iran.
