The Senate Committee on Armed Services recommended a $50 m. increase over the Obama administration’s request for $106.1 m. to fund Israeli missile defense systems being jointly developed by the U.S. and Israel. In its report (number 112-26) the committee noted that the David’s Sling and Arrow-3 missile systems had fallen behind their development schedules and recommended that funding for each system be increased by $25 m. and $5 m. respectively.
