To require the President to impose sanctions on foreign financial institutions that conduct transactions with the Central Bank of Iran.

H.R.3508

First

Referred to House (sub)committee

Very similar to H.R. 3439 of 11/16/11, this bill would not give the president the latitude to make an official determination as to whether the Central Bank of Iran has participated in any Iranian efforts to acquire weapons of mass destruction. It would simply require him to impose sanctions on financial institutions that have conducted business with the CBI.
