Calling for the unconditional release of United States citizens and legal permanent resident aliens being held for political purposes by the Government of Iran

This resolution called on Iran to release four U.S. citizens and two U.S. permanent residents allegedly being held in the country; urged the president to prioritize their release; and requested that the U.S. and its allies consider establishing a “multinational task force” to secure the release of the abovementioned six and any other foreign nationals detained in Iran.
