“Calls upon Yasser Arafat to embrace a vision for a genuine and just peace in the Middle East by formally renouncing any map of Palestine that denies the existence of the State of Israel; and calls upon the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Libya, Iran, Iraq, and other nations that have historically been enemies of Israel, many of whom will be meeting in Beirut on March 27, and 28, 2002, to express their commitment to peaceful coexistence with Israel through a similar public expression of accepting the existence of Israel.”
