This bill would forbid U.S. assistance to Egypt in accordance with the ‘coups d’etat’ provision of H.R. 3547 of 11/20/13. It would also place a hold on deliveries of certain defense articles and suspend negotiations over future deliveries until the president certified that national elections and a peaceful transfer of power had taken place in Egypt.
