Recognizes the significance of Israel’s independence in providing refuge and a national homeland for the Jewish people; commends the bipartisan commitment of all U.S. administrations and Congresses since 1948 to work for Israel’s security and wellbeing; congratulates the U.S. and Israel for strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of defense, diplomacy, and homeland security; and encourages both nations to continue their cooperation in resolving future mutual challenges.
