Like the identical measure, H. Res. 148 of 3/10/15, this resolution would urge the Iranian government to release Robert Levinson as a humanitarian gesture, inter alia. Levinson, a retired FBI officer, was last seen on Kish Island in Iran on 3/9/07. He is thought be held in detention there ever since being captured by ‘unknown assailants.’
