Like similar measure S. Con. Res. 54 of 9/28/16, this resolution urged the U.S. to continue vetoing any UNSC resolutions seeking to impose a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It also warned that any “widespread international recognition” of Palestinian statehood would likely trigger new restrictions on U.S. aid to the Palestinians.
